Job Description

Our client is a market leader and is Singapore’s most established ceramics company.

Responsible for the management of the Singapore warehouse, delivery process & provide support to the Managers – Clients Relations to execute sales to hospitality clients successfully.


• Implements & Maintains the brand promise & integrity

• Implements & Maintains the Brand Product & Service Standards

• Ensures that warehouse & delivery operations function according to the brand standards to maximize guest & associate satisfaction and profitability


• Engages the factory on all ordering & delivery activities on the goods

• Engages the factory on product inquiries for Sales • Executes all ordering, inventory & delivery process and measurement controls

• Executes & Manage system update and warehouse space management

• Monitors and continuously enable enhancement of systems interface & operational efficiency

• Manages all inventory activities including stock count, audit and incident reporting for loss/damage orders, stock availability

• Complies with corporate instruction relating to inventory protection, scrapping and disposal of used/obsolete goods

• Manages the cleanliness & maintenance of the warehouse

• Manages services of internal & 3PL outsourcing operations

• Engages internal & 3PL for receiving and issuance to prepare monthly statistics report

• Organizes & Conducts product deliveries to the clients


• Creates & executes development plan for all direct reports

• Creates succession plans for future roles

• Develops, implement & evaluate training programs

• Achieves effective & efficient work process and systems to maximize individual and overall property performance

• Ensures all associates are treated according to the brand values

• Fosters open communication (Open Door Policy) and build rapport with frontline associates


• Establishes traffic rules and monitoring of performance of logistics forwarder services

• Establishes awareness by business stakeholders on logistics and customs requirements

• Interfaces for handling of insurance claim process

• Manages GST related issues on import shipments

• Dissemination of Singapore Customs regulation/update

• Manages project logistics sourcing responsibility

• Manages project logistics operations activities in terms of interface with the supplier, customer, project team and relevant logistics partners

• Completes Monthly reports including Inventory, Freight activities and Stocktake


• Minimum 6 months as a manager or 18 months as an assistant manager in a mid-size operation

• Experience in Hospitality operation

• Opening / set up Experience is an advantage

• Experience in sales is an advantage


• Diploma in Management or related field

• University degree is an advantage


• Able to lead by example with integrity

• Must have Driver’s License & Forklift License. Truck License is an advantage


• Fluent in written, verbal & spoken English & Mandarin
