Our client is a well established, international chain hotel located in the heart of Singapore

The Role

Position summary statement:

A candidate in this position will ensure that the property provides saleable, well furnished and maintained guest rooms, public area and associate area. He/she is also responsible for the high standards of customer service, sanitation and cleanliness in the property.

The incumbent is expected to champion the values of the organization, build and maintain positive working relationships with all Guests & Associates and actively contribute to the development of the Rooms Division Team.

Provides administrative functions in the areas of recruitment, training and development, people and performance management, social welfare as well as updating and maintenance of HACCP records.

Primary Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

Ensure that the products and services standards between the properties are maintained according to the established standards, expectations, budget, goals, policies, and procedures.

Contribute and participate actively in the improvement of upgrading of the property.

Ensure policies and procedures by which the highest possible degree of cleanliness, maintenance and aesthetic value is achieved.

Participate in Associates’ Welfare programmes, community activities and professional organisation.

Conduct regular property inspections, e.g. rooms, F&B outlets, public areas, kitchens.

Demonstrate good knowledge about property cleanliness, sanitation and preventive maintenance. 

Be familiar with the operations of property.

Provide leadership for environmental awareness in all aspects of property care.

Conduct products and services audit for property care regularly.

Ensure the HACCP system & policy in the wholesales Butchery are followed strictly.


Assist in quality management focused on Food hygiene and good operational practices within HACCP requirements.

Assist in listing potential hazards and conduct Hazard analysis and consider control measures by periodic monitoring of an established HACCP and to obtain independent information on the state of HACCP quality management systems assessment.

Assist in the development of the Annual Learning and Development plans and budgets.

Service Standardization

Ensure active implementation and adherence to Corporate Branding and Brand Standards

To set the Good Manufacturing Practices based on a set of fundamental food hygiene principles that food processing establishments should follow in order to ensure the safety of foods.

Understands role as Brand Standards mentor and continues to develop and strive to deliver higher service standards than guest expectations.

Other Responsibilities

Providing advice on best practices and procedures to all Associates and managers as required and proactively promoting a greater understanding of these throughout the organization.

Keeping up to date the relevant policy, legislation and current issues relating to the hospitality sector.

Recommending meaningful measures for analysing and applying procedures pertaining to hygiene and safety.

Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required by the Executive Assistant Manager.

To Champion the Property Maintenance Program for the Hotel

To ensure a high level of communication and highly engaged team of associates across the hotel.



You must come from a reputable mid to large inventory hotel

3 to 5 years in a similar capacity

Dynamic and self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task

Excellent people management skills is essential

Ability to work under pressure and tight datelines
