The Role

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards

Manage and control food/labour costs

Supervise kitchen staff’s activities

Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

Recruit and manage kitchen staff

Rectify arising problems or complaints

Perform administrative duties

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Keep time and payroll records

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

The Person
  • You must be on pace with current local trends in Singapore
  • Prior western / steakhouse experience is a must
  • A team player and strong leader / mentor
  • Willing to work long hours
  • Prior fine dining / brasserie experience requried
  • Recognised degree / diploma and F&B certifications
  • Strong in cost control
  • Able to lead and motivate a team
