Responsibilities

General Management

  • Drive overall operational and business performance.
  • Develop clear team structures with defined Areas of Responsibility (AOR) and Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) mapping.
  • Collaborate with the Board to establish goals with clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Lead teams to achieve venue-specific OKRs.
  • Set and communicate clear operating standards and ensure adherence.
  • Align teams with the venue’s and group’s mission and values.
  • Maintain quality, operational, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety standards, and public/employee safety regulations.

Talent & Financial Management

  • Oversee annual planning and budgeting processes, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss statement for the venue.
  • Analyze sales trends and implement cost control measures and marketing improvements.
  • Develop staff training and development plans tailored to business needs.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Team on employee movements and performance feedback.
  • Implement training strategies to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in general management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management.
  • Exceptional organizational and operational management skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Ability to uphold high standards while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Day-to-Day

  • Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the venue.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to achieve operational excellence.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
