Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, maintaining a positive working environment, and achieving all set objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage multiple departments, implement corporate standards, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the resort's operations.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Satisfaction & Operations: Ensure the resort operates in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans and budgets, including revenue and cost management, while safeguarding quality and operational efficiency.

  • Marketing & Promotion: Implement attractive products and services tailored to target groups, and oversee the production and distribution of promotional materials.

  • Financial Oversight: Prepare monthly financial reports, manage accounting processes, and provide data and proposals for budgets and investments.

  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage Department Heads and Assistant Managers, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and manpower planning.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to legal regulations, including employment laws, Occupational Health & Safety standards, and fire regulations.

  • Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints effectively and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Corporate Identity: Uphold the company’s corporate identity and standards in all operations.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hotel or resort management, with a strong track record of achieving operational and financial goals.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively.

  • Proficiency in implementing corporate SOPs and maintaining brand standards.

Day-to-Day
  • Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure smooth functioning.

  • Monitor and adjust budgets, costs, and operational plans as needed.

  • Conduct regular meetings with Department Heads and Assistant Managers to align on goals and performance.

  • Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and review financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
