Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, maintaining a positive working environment, and achieving all set objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage multiple departments, implement corporate standards, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the resort's operations.
Responsibilities
Guest Satisfaction & Operations: Ensure the resort operates in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans and budgets, including revenue and cost management, while safeguarding quality and operational efficiency.
Marketing & Promotion: Implement attractive products and services tailored to target groups, and oversee the production and distribution of promotional materials.
Financial Oversight: Prepare monthly financial reports, manage accounting processes, and provide data and proposals for budgets and investments.
Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage Department Heads and Assistant Managers, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and manpower planning.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to legal regulations, including employment laws, Occupational Health & Safety standards, and fire regulations.
Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints effectively and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Corporate Identity: Uphold the company’s corporate identity and standards in all operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel or resort management, with a strong track record of achieving operational and financial goals.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues effectively.
Proficiency in implementing corporate SOPs and maintaining brand standards.
Day-to-Day
Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure smooth functioning.
Monitor and adjust budgets, costs, and operational plans as needed.
Conduct regular meetings with Department Heads and Assistant Managers to align on goals and performance.
Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
Prepare and review financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
