We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of an Argentinian steak restaurant within a prestigious and internationally recognized hotel group in Turkey. Responsibilities

As the Head Chef, you will:

  • Lead all kitchen operations in alignment with the brand's quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.

  • Ensure excellence in meat preparation, cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation.

  • Manage, train, and motivate the kitchen team to foster effective communication and teamwork.

  • Oversee menu planning, recipe standardization, cost control, and food profitability.

  • Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, hygiene, cold/hot chain, and allergen procedures.

  • Monitor and control food, labor, equipment, and wastage costs to meet quality and financial targets.

  • Prepare daily market lists and coordinate with storekeepers to ensure quality and par levels are maintained.

  • Conduct daily briefings, training sessions, tastings, and operational controls to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in steakhouse or meat-driven concepts.

  • Advanced knowledge of meat cuts, grilling techniques, and beef-focused menus.

  • A culinary diploma or certification (preferred).

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills.

  • A high level of responsibility, reliability, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating all kitchen activities to ensure seamless operations.

  • Leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, with a focus on Argentinian steak and meat specialties.

  • Training and mentoring kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team.

  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the procurement of fresh, high-quality ingredients.

  • Conducting regular quality checks to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

  • Collaborating with the management team to develop innovative menu offerings and optimize kitchen efficiency.
