Responsibilities
As the Director of Food & Beverage, your key responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining best-in-class standards for all Food & Beverage operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Driving commercial performance through strategic planning and execution to achieve financial targets.
Leading and mentoring managers and team members to cultivate talent and develop future departmental leaders.
Overseeing the department’s budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
Collaborating with management on reports, forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.
Managing pricing strategies based on customer feedback, supply chain dynamics, and industry trends.
Partnering with celebrity chefs to execute signature restaurant activations that enhance guest satisfaction and deliver meaningful returns.
Ensuring all team members are trained to meet international standards and service excellence benchmarks.
Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and innovations in food and beverage services.
Maintaining professional confidentiality and fostering effective employee relations.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
5-8 years of experience as Head of Food & Beverage in a 5-star luxury hotel or high-standard individual restaurants.
Previous experience in South East Asia is preferred.
Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
Sound business acumen and familiarity with computer systems.
Expertise in food and beverage operations, including events and restaurant management.
Proven experience in pre-opening and renovation projects for F&B venues or event facilities.
Strong leadership, people management, and training skills.
Guest-oriented mindset with the ability to exceed service standards.
Thorough knowledge of cost control, labor management, menu development, and merchandising.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
Day-to-Day
Your daily responsibilities will include:
