Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Manager to join our client's APAC Commercial team. This role is focused on expanding their presence in the Japanese hospitality market. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities, connecting with hotels, and showcasing the value of cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new hotel clients through outbound channels, including cold calls, emails, networking, visits, and industry events.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth ambitions in Japan.

  • Conduct client meetings to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.

  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate ROI for hotels.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing.

  • Maintain pipeline visibility and track sales activities using Salesforce CRM.

  • Represent the company at industry events and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in hospitality technology or SaaS.

  • Strong understanding of hotel distribution, CRS, or e-commerce platforms.

  • Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English is required.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • A passion for travel and hospitality is highly desirable.

Day-to-Day

  • Proactively reach out to potential clients to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with hotel clients to understand their business needs.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proposals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

  • Regularly update CRM systems to track progress and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
