Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, maintaining a positive working environment, and achieving the resort's financial and operational objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can implement strategic plans, manage diverse teams, and uphold the highest standards of service and compliance.
Responsibilities
Guest Satisfaction & Operations: Ensure the resort operates in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans and budgets, including revenue and cost management, while safeguarding quality and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate Department Heads and Assistant Managers, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
Financial Oversight: Prepare monthly financial reports, oversee accounting processes, and justify any deviations or differences.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to employment regulations, Occupational Health & Safety standards, fire regulations, and other legal requirements.
Marketing & Promotion: Implement marketing plans and oversee the production and distribution of promotional materials to attract target groups.
Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints and lead internal and external meetings to address operational challenges.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel or resort management, with a strong track record of achieving financial and operational goals.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards, legal regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant tools.
Day-to-Day
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning across all departments.
Monitor guest feedback and implement measures to enhance satisfaction.
Coordinate with Department Heads to ensure timely execution of activities and adherence to schedules.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
Review financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and corporate identity standards.
Address and resolve any operational issues or guest concerns promptly.
