Job Description

Our client with over 15 years of experiences in meeting planning and planning technology, their highly trained team of certified meeting planners has provided “best in class” services within the pharmaceutical, medical education, corporate, hotel, and travel industries.

They are looking at dynamic individual to join their newly start up office in Singapore, looking after the Southeast Asia market.

 

Summary

· Manage the day to day operational activities for a dedicated client within the region

· Drive service excellence across staff and deliverables

· Lead regional projects as required

· Maximize productivity while adhering to the company’s and client’s Procedures and Standards and Service Level Agreement / KPI and Policies

· Manage and develop regional initiatives as/when assigned/required

 

Responsibilities:

· Regular interaction and alignment with the client

· Participate in and lead regional and conference calls

· Conduct online and in-person product training sessions as required

· Provide support to countries within the region (both assigned countries and others as required)

· Manage/monitor the company database for the region

· Maintain customer service standards within region through ongoing communication and training with staff

· Provide consistency of processes and communication and maintain a high level of service both internally and externally

· Update regularly product and system knowledge relevant to role

· Implement and support management with new and creative process improvements, identify opportunities for productivity and reduced costs, and ensure ongoing customer service excellence

· Conduct regular feedback opportunities with the staff and client contacts across the region to encourage development, alignment and involvement

· Ensure successful delivery of all service level agreement components

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

· A strong self-starter with initiative and accountability working in a fast-paced environment

· Positive individual with good coaching skills

· Strong conflict resolution skills

· Strong decision-making skills based on an ability to synthesize information across many sources and take measured risk

· Strong communication skills – both written and verbal and a confident, professional presence

· Proven track record of managing day to day activities in a corporate meetings & events operations on a regional level

· Experience/understanding of meetings management technology solutions

· Previous experience with Meetings & Events operations across the region

· Previous account management experience will be advantageous
