Our client is a leading international hotel group actively expanding its global presence in key gateway cities around the world including continued growth in Australia.
They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Cluster Human Resources Manager to join their team. This role will report directly to the Country General Manager and will play an integral part of the Hotel Group Australia leadership team, whilst working closely with the wider Hospitality HR team on both national and global initiatives.
In the first instance, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Human Resources function across the Australia portfolio. Your core focus will be to deliver on their people initiatives and build individual and organisational capability through the property leadership teams. Your previous experience operating at a leadership level will be essential to effectively implement and drive a robust hotel Human Resources agenda.
Key responsibilities: -
·Through established HR processes, you will ensure the HR administration is flawless from a compliance perspective
·HR tools and practices are effective and aligned with the wider company
·Develop and execute a strategic HR business plan as well as forecasting the short and long-term talent requirements of the business
·Drive change through the enhancement of HR procedures whilst keeping in alignment with the Hotel Group global strategy
·Manage the business though systems implementation, including Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and payroll system
·Management of ER/IR issues, consulting managers on key policy and employment legislation issues
·Implement HR Initiative's to promote a positive culture and staff morale
·Drive succession planning through the identification, development and execution of high potential employee development plans
·Three to five years of senior human resources experience, preferably with a hospitality background
·Previous exposure working across multiple businesses
·Experience with systems implementation and/or project work is highly desirable
·You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and be deadline oriented whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
·previous experience understanding the payroll interpretation and processes will be highly advantageous in this role
·You will have sound knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES and Award/EBA Interpretation
·Be flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments and deadlines
