Job Description

The Client

Our client with over 15 years of experiences in meeting planning and planning technology, their highly trained team of certified meeting planners has provided “best in class” services within the pharmaceutical, medical education, corporate, hotel, and travel industries.

They are looking at dynamic individual to join their newly start up office in Singapore, looking after the Southeast Asia market.

 

The Role

  • Develop new opportunities within existing opportunities identified
  • Prospecting and identification of new business opportunities
  • Develop a yearly sales plan in-conjunction with the Managing Director
  • Sales calls and credential presentations to prospective clients
  • Monthly sales report preparation for Management Team review each month
  • Follow-up of prospects/clients to further develop or close sales opportunities
  • Obtaining a detailed brief from prospective clients for proposal preparation
  • Preparation and assisting in preparing proposals and presentations for new business, and existing client, pitches
  • Negotiate competitive rates, and value-add opportunities, in the preparation of proposals where necessary with operations team
  • Assist in creating new concepts, sourcing new venues and suppliers to maximise business opportunities
  • Development and co-ordination of marketing material utilised for client/prospect purposes
  • Identify PR opportunities and co-ordination of PR in-conjunction with the Managing Director
  • Co-ordination of business development events
  • Attend networking events as required when the event is identified as a business development opportunity for the company
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain a competitor analysis for the SEA market
  • Maintain exceptional standards of client service
  • Take personal responsibility in maximising yield for the company
  • Adhere to standard office procedures
