The Role

· Oversees the service of all wines and beverages in the hotel

· Ensures that the wine list and beverage lists are up to date, on trend and correctly priced

· Manages stock levels to ensure enough supply to cover demand without over stocking

· Creates promotions to increase sales

· Trains F&B service staff on product knowledge and service skills

· Recommends wines to guests and to accompany special menus

· Liase with Hotel Operations Manager/Head of Hospitality to initiate and co-ordinate promotional events

· Effectively controls stock levels to reduce wastage and losses

· Assist in service operational requirements wherein required within the varying outlets

· Oversee the management of the fine dining restaurant, Dining Room, including the creation and promotion of the outlet

The Person

· Single, young and Malaysian-Chinese speaking nationality

· With at least 3 years of experience in fine dining restaurant management within a five-star F&B operation (international hotel brand preferred) and possess Level 2 certification of WSET

· Educated to a Degree level in Hotel Management

· Practical hands on F&B service skills

· Strong leadership and organization skills
