The Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales and Account Management

  • Responsible for sales and profitability KPIs of airlines and airport customers 
  • Engage and own relationships with airline and airport customers at all decision-making and working levels 
  • Execute plans for entire sales cycle from initial engagement, qualify opportunities, building value proposition, to contract negotiation 
  • Collaborate with airline partners to launch new products and new markets 
  • Design strategies and collaborate with airlines to increase usage of the products and system 
  • Execute Network Strategy to identify, contract and implement new airlines to participate on the alliance portal 
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights to strategic growth plans 

Business Development

  • Identify and engage new partners to participate as a member of the Value Alliance eco-system 
  • Supplier engagements to expand channels and increase re-direct traffic to the alliance’s portal 
  • Supplier engagements with non-air and ancillary suppliers, to realise cross-selling revenue opportunities for the partners 
  • Collaborate with Global team to realise inter-connectivity of global network partners, with APAC airline partners 


  • Define and execute Product and Services Strategy for individual airline in the APAC region 
  • Develop engagement strategies with regional airline customer base 
  • Market development and penetration strategies for specific airline and airport segments
  • Execute pricing strategy to support the organisation strategies 
  • Provide regular market analysis to address market and competitive trend 


The Person


  • Experienced in business development of airline IT, travel, aviation, OTAs industry
  • Experienced in handling regional and global airline customers and account management 
  • Experienced and comfortable working in resource constrained, highly cost-conscious environment
  • Experience in introducing and developing e-commerce strategies and working with e-commerce partners
  • Excellent people skills
  • Highly self-directed and results driven 
  • Highly motivated and a team player 
  • Excellent inter-personal skills 
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with experience working with customers from different cultures 
  • Good negotiation skills 
  • Strategic and analytical skills to organize a host of information into analytics for strategic decision-making
