Job Description

Our client, largest night entertainment club in Singapore, striving to be the pacesetter in propelling Asia’s dance music scene forward and leading Singapore to the forefront of the global clubbing culture by continuously pushing boundaries.

 

Summary

 The HR Manager will manage the day to day HR operations function of the company in Singapore. He/She will ensure smooth pipeline of talent required for the business and be a strong advocate for progressive people practices. The ideal candidate should have strong generalist experience with proven ability leading and developing HR functions. He/She should be resourceful and solutions-focused, and able to collaborate with different stakeholders in a timely manner.

 

 

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the HR function across business units in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and America

· Build and manage a new team across all HR functions

· Develop strategies and policies pertaining to compensation and benefits, learning & development, performance management, recruitment, reward and retention etc.

· Deliver value-added services to the management and employees and ensure a positive and highly engaged employee lifecycle experience

· Ensures effectiveness of internal controls over the HR processes

· Prepares monthly reporting to the Group HR

· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, employment law, talent management and new technologies for the industry

· Work closely with Senior Management on projects and initiatives

· Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

· Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline

· Experience in pre-opening, restructuring or change management will be an added bonus

· Minimum 8 years of extensive HR generalist experience

· Thorough knowledge of local and regional employment-related laws and regulations

· Excellent cross-cultural and cross-functional management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

· Independent, responsible, meticulous and results oriented
