Our client is a travel technology company with offices in Hong Kong, London, Singapore, Paris, Milan, and Istanbul. They are a global leader in hospitality guest service technology who are undergoing extensive expansion. Their service is already live in major hotels globally and in key gateway cities. 



About the Role

Due to this expansion, they now have an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, dynamic and results-driven sales professional to set up and manage their operation in Australia. This is a senior role and will suit a can do inspirational leader who thrives in a fast-paced working environment with the ability to motivate, inspire and challenge their team to deliver consistently high results.

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for sales and business development to increase sales and market share in their assigned areas.

·Have full accountability for country turnover and manage a team of Sales and Account managers.

·Liaise with customers and clients, leading business negotiations with the ability to close deals ASAP.

·Ensure all company, client and Government legislation and service level agreements are fully implemented and complied with.

·Provide motivational and innovative leadership.

·Move a successful business partnership forward, maintaining excellent relationships and striving for world class status in all areas of operation.

·Oversee and ensure that world class service is in place to all customers and clients in all areas of the business.

·Coordinate the quality control feedback system, reporting to the client and company through KPI action plans.

·Responsible for financial management including budgets, forecasts and P&L.

·Monitor daily the standards achieved in each area and take corrective action where required.

·Ensure that product & stock is managed and delivered effectively and meets the strict requirements of the business with the Operation team leader in the assigned areas.



The Person

·Min 5-year experience in a demanding, fast paced hospitality environment and in a Sales Management position.

·Must be smartphone and internet savvy.

·Local market knowledge is a MUST with hotel connections.

·Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to think on the spot.

·Perceptive leader with a real passion for building a strong team.

·Flexible to change and able to react very quickly to that change.

·Financially and commercially very astute.

·Unparalleled ability to build relationships (and understand the success of this role is dependent on successful client relationships).

·A very consultative personal style in all aspects of the role.

·Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to influence up and down the chain.

·Ability to motivate, inspire and challenge your team to deliver consistently high results.

·A passion for service excellence, and a tenacious approach in the pursuit of your objectives.
