Job Description

The Company

Our client is a bespoke boutique floral company looking to build its corporate base in Singapore.

The Role

Sales & Marketing:

You will work closely with the CEO and/or her designate to formulate, implement and execute
the Company’s sales and marketing plans, with a primary focus on Corporate
Customers, including but not limited to the following:

a.Own and hit/exceed Annual Sales Target(s);

b.Determine, develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve sales targets and expand the Company’s Corporate Customers (as defined herein) base;

c.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with the Company’s Corporate Customers;

d.Implement sales and marketing programs by developing field sales action plans;

e.Keep current with changing customer and industry trends, economic indicators, and competitors;

f.Establish and adjust sales and marketing programs by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand;

g. Determine and generate sales and marketing proposals and presentations;

h. Identify new opportunities by (i) identifying Corporate Customers’
requirements; (ii) defining new market segments; (iii) analyzing competitors’
share, and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses; (iv) forecasting business
opportunities; and (v) establishing target market share and sales targets;

i. Assist with products and services development by (i) researching,
identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; (ii) generate new
products and services offerings; and (iii) develop new products and services

j. Effectively manage Corporate Customers accounts by (i) maintaining
frequent and proactive communication; (ii) customer engagement and feedback;
(ii) exploring specific customer needs; and (iii) anticipating new

k. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts;

l. Provide sales and marketing information and insights to the Company by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing industry, competitors and customer data and trends; and

m.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by
(i) attending educational workshops, (ii) reviewing professional publications,
(iii) establishing personal networks, and (iv) participating in professional


a.Protect the reputation of the Company and the brand integrity through appropriate manners of internal and
external communication, actions and compliance with legal and moral requirements;

b.Establish, build and maintain the Company’s sales and marketing processes, systems, customer database, and procedures;

c.Complete sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees including following up on work results;

d.Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees;

e.Maintain sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees including planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;

f.Manage productivity and efficiency by
(i) preparing quarterly and annual sales and marketing budgets; (ii) scheduling
expenditures; (iii) analyzing variances; and (iv) initiating timely corrective

g.Effectively manage third party
vendors and service providers to ensure (i) stability of the Company’s
operations, (ii) sustainable productivity and cost-efficiency, and (iii)
develop long-term relationships that will creates value for the Company in the

h.Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and
procedures; and

i.Contribute as necessary to team efforts to ensure the financial viability and success of the Company.

The Person

  • proven track record in a role of similar capacity
  • 6-8 years experience in the hospitality or retail industry
  • strong command of English and Mandarin preferred
