Job Description

Our client is a global Hotel Solutions Provider, offering solutions regarding the hotel management for more than 3,000 enterprises. They offers its customers individual consulting and develops custom-fit solutions ranging from strategic procurement to bookings via several channels as well as optimized payment processes. Services and solutions for meeting and group bookings through a standardized online booking tool round down the offer for companies. They have exclusive access to all global distribution systems (GDS). Counting more than 5 million rooms in individual hotels, it is the world's biggest provider of hotel content.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the Korean market and identifying customer potential to push new business & revenue
  • Responsible for business management by monitoring team targets and setting priorities to ensure mid- and long term revenue growth
  • In addition you will constantly improve internal processes and develop professional and interpersonal competencies in your team to achieve a top position in the India B2B travel industry
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead sales by example, understands the market  and how to deliver on strategic opportunities
  • Coaches team members on their focus areas, priority setting and also their approach to specific client-facing issues
  • Proactively seeks communication to other departments to develop a common approach to strategic objectives and to share best practices
  • Monitors development of team targets and ensures needed changes on strategic level in cooperation with the board member for Corporate Solutions
  • Ensures mutual communication in the team to share experiences and best practice approaches
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge within the team with respect to the product portfolio, the benefits for the customer and key sales arguments
  • Manages complaints and derives learnings from critical situations to improve overall quality
  • Review & contribute to associated Account Development Plans within team
  • Assist team in acquisition of new clients and ensures new customers go live and begin booking. Assumes role of key escalation contact for major accounts
  • Build long-lasting relationships with key industry influencer and customer decision makers
  • Leverages global indirect sales teams to remove TMC resistance and leverages TMC influence over local accounts in order to increase share of wallet
  • Leadership and effective coordination of an effective, localized teams of hotel sales managers and inside sales managers
  • Responsible for compliance with the agreed objectives, implementation of the defined market strategy and the optimization of the margins achieved in the managed markets
  • Leadership and coaching the team for the acquisition and the active development of hotel partners
  • Planning and implementation of sales strategies and sales push activities and subsequent reporting

 

Requirements:

· Experienced leader who successfully managed sales or consulting teams within the B2B travel industry for at least 5-7  years in a management role

· Experience in dealing with online reservation systems & enthusiasm for online sales / E-Commerce

· Knowledge of B2B travel industry (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, TMCs/OBEs, GDS).

· Strong knowledge of Korean Market and Corporate Travel

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence ambition of clients as well as motivation of team members

· High customer and results orientation coupled with excellent communication skills

· Ability to build a sustainable relationship network

· Flexible with strong organizational skills

· Pronounced enthusiasm, commitment and assertiveness
