Job Description

The Company

Our client is a leading international & reputable Travel group and is looking to identify a Corporate Technology Product Leader, China (role based in Shanghai).

 

The Role

  • The role will report to the Director of IT and Director of Operations and be the overall lead for development and deployment of corporate technology products and client driven technology solutions in China. Be the go-to person for client driven technology requests.
  • Support the country sales team globally in response to corporate technology product solutions RFP’s/RFI’s. Work with country sales teams to determine and set client expectations on potential technology solutions, pricing and development timelines.
  • Close coordination with the company global technology team and Asia Technology Implementation team on identifying solutions that need to be implemented, developing project plans & timelines for implementation, prioritizing those activities, and then working to meet those timelines to meet client deliverables and expectations.
  • Lead the Technology Product Implementation team in China to provide client support and maintain good relationships with corporate customers.
  • Strategy development for technology products and solutions as applicable in the China
  • Local support & training of product usage and tools for internal & external customers
  • Liaising with technology teams on projects underway and applicability to their areas
  • Sales support for regional efforts to secure new customers

 

The Person

  • IT Degree and min 5 years work experience in the travel industry
  • Candidates with a strong TravelSky background and knowledge in OBT, Expenses Management Tool
  • Strong travel technology product knowledge
  • Ability to provide customers with a high level of continuous service and support
  • Effective project management techniques; principles and practices of effective management and supervision.
  • Establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility
  • Multi-tasking and respond to emergency situations effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ( English and Chinese)
