The Role

An exciting opportunity for a Cluster General Manager to manage a cluster of hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are looking for an inspirational leader who can challenge and exceed market performance benchmarks. A leader who multi tasks, inspires their team, is a business guru and drives innovation


·Drive and encourage a culture of outstanding guest service, high profitability, innovation and attention to detail

·Be responsible for leading and driving operational and service excellence across your hotels

·Motivate, inspire and lead your hotel teams to continually exceed business objectives, financial targets and guest deliverables for the hotel group, their owners and guests

·Support in driving business efficiency and ensuring Brand standards are consistently delivered across the group

·Partner with key specialist teams (revenue, sales, marketing, finance and HR) to ensure the most effective outcomes are achieved in every hotel

·Set and drive operational targets, KPIs, budgets, manning guides

·In partnership with Sales, Revenue and Marketing ensure that each property has an annual business plan

·Ensure hotels achieve budgeted RevPAR and Gross and Net Operating Profit

·Build and implement strategies that will support business growth, short and long term

·Drive exemplary guest experiences, delivered to brand standards

·Ensure the effective selection, development, engagement and retention of talent across your hotels to deliver exemplary guest experiences

The Person

The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

·Degree, or equivalent qualifications in Hotel Management, Business, Commerce

·Proven Hotel Manager who has delivered growth results in a business across regions or across a cluster of hotels

·Proven experience in building service teams and delivering best class service

·Proven driver of revenue and profit across multiple business units and/or hotels

·A minimum of 4 years’ hotel leadership experience

·Experience in managing teams of 10+ team members

·Experience is developing service cultures and developing leadership talent pipelines

·Prior experience in Sales and or Revenue Management preferred
