About the Company

A travel technology company based in Hong Kong, with offices in London, Singapore, Paris, Milan, and Istanbul. Our client is the global leader in hospitality guest service technology, with over 3 million hotel room deployments scheduled for 2017.

Their flagship product is a complimentary smartphone amenity installed in hotel rooms for guests to use both on and off hotel property, providing them with free unlimited connectivity, up-to- date information, and a mobile commerce platform. The service is already live in 10 cities globally – in key gateway cities like Hong Kong and Singapore, handy is deployed in 50% of all hotel rooms.

 

 

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify Telecom company to see if they are qualified to become a reseller and negotiate terms and conditions
  • Work with all internal departments (Sales, Account Management, Onboarding, Logistics, Warehouse, deployment and Customer Support team) to build a Business Operation procedures to train and setup the reseller to mirror the company’s operations
  • Train and arrange experts within the company to train up the partners
  • Create forecast, business plans with channel partners and create review and measurement matrix
  • Work with Marketing for launch events and MDs or Sales leaders to ensure Major Account Deals are honored and executed properly
  • Effectively manage internal and external resources
  • Build close relationships with the business to identify opportunities and priorities, and facilitate key decisions
  • Perform hands-on business and systems process and procedures
  • Adhere to vendor management processes/procedures and contribute to vendor scorecard
  • Manage service, including vendor management on a day-to-day service basis
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure business is successful

 

 

The Person

Requirements 

  • Min 8-year experience in a demanding, fast paced channel partner leadership and management role that has hospitality or telecom exposure
  • Must be smartphone and internet savvy
  • Must be hands on to create new process and procedures, including doing training and creating training materials for the partners
  • Broad IT knowledge, good business sense and strong problem solver;
  • Previous project management experience in mission in hospitality is an advantage;
  • Able to cope with tight project schedule and demonstrate the ability and flexibility to work under dynamic environment;
  • Strong in building up and maintaining relationship with clients at all levels from executives to operational staff;
  • Very resourceful and experienced working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must speak and write English fluently and proficiently
  • Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Perceptive leader with a real passion for building a strong team
  • Flexible to change and able to react very quickly to that change
  • Financially and commercially very astute
