Job Description

Our client is the leading cruise liner in Asia Pacific looking for a dynamic individual to be part of the corporate team.
 
Position Summary: 
The AVP – Marketing Campaigns & Events is primarily responsible for the coordination and the execution of all planned marketing campaigns, promotions & events onboard vessels within the South East Asian region. This role will also be responsible to work closely with the various internal departments to develop the appropriate marketing messages, collateral, strategies to promote each event, promotion and programs.

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Business Development teams, VIP and Mass, to develop concepts and execution of each event, promotion and program
· Work with the Marketing Services team to develop proper marketing collaterals, messaging and identify platforms in which to promote each marketing initiative
· Work closely with the Membership Contact Center and Premium Contact Center to properly block cabins for events and identify gaps whereby there is a need to push additional marketing promotions to fill cabins for any and all cruises
· Design and develop concept for each scheduled event, promotion and program
· Participate in the development of pro-formas and post-event analysis
· Work closely with Procurement in sourcing new products and vendors to support various marketing initiatives
· Ensuring that all relevant internal and external departments are briefed accordingly prior to the commencement of each event, promotion and program

Requirement:
· University graduate in business, tourism, hospitality and/or sales management
· At least 8 years of experience (with minimum 5 years of managerial level) in the area of Player Development, Casino Marketing, Club Marketing, Hospitality industry, Shopping Mall or equivalent
· Proven ability to lead a large team with diverse backgrounds across many different countries and cultural backgrounds
· Strong relationship building skills to build strong relationships amongst internal and external departments
· Fluent in English and proficiency in Chinese is preferred
· Good leadership, team player and positive attitude
· Be able to facilitate team work and develop team members’ careers and abilities through mentorship
· Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
· Creative and can think out of the box to generate ideas
· Be able to work-off hours as required by the needs of the business
· Able to travel to both domestic and international location, as needed
