The Company
Our client operates a collection of luxury and premium hotel brands across the Asian region with an exciting expansion set to continue with a solid pipeline of new hotels over the next few years.
The Role
- Formulate the organisational talent infrastructure to deliver an effective strategic people strategy including pipeline development and succession planning in corporate office and properties
Direct and advise a competitive Rewards Strategy that aligns market trends and business performances
- Monitor, coach and guide the overall Learning & Development Strategy to execute the training initiatives effectively
Design, curate and facilitate Talent Resourcing and Performance Management of all employees for the Group
Ensure all aspects of staffing, employee relations and compensations are delivered timely and in accordance with relevant labour and commercial legislation, in line with corporate policies and guidelines
Manage HR legal compliance, sustainability and employee governing bodies to ensure conformity across discipline
Familiar with current work methodologies to formulate effective Workforce Optimization and manpower planning strategies across the board
Equip with digitization expertise to advise on synchronization of systems and platforms
Actively support business initiatives and business expectations with effective people products and services that promote a positive and innovative performance culture in our organization
Committed to employer branding through a recognition and awards strategy to enhance the company’s reputation
The Person
Proven experience as VPHR or other senior HR role
Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution
Profound knowledge in HR functions (rewards, performance management, talent development etc.)
Ability to use metrics and analytics to build reports and analysis
Knowledge of local and international labour law
Proven experience in handling complicated employee relations issues (discrimination claims, sexual harassment investigations and downsizing
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Aptitude in communicating and public speaking
Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
BSc/BA in business, HR, social sciences or related field; Masters degree preferred
HR Certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR) recommended
Multilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (read, write) preferred
