Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager, Brand Portfolio, India for our client to lead the expansion of our member portfolio with a focus on South Asia. Based in either Singapore or India, this role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies to strengthen our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strategic mindset, and a talent for building meaningful connections with hotel owners, developers, architects, designers, and brand partners in the independent hospitality space.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development

  • Formulate and implement a strategic plan to expand the portfolio and strengthen the brand’s presence across South Asia.

Portfolio Development & Growth

  • Execute market-specific strategies to drive portfolio expansion.

  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified, on-brand hotels through active sourcing, networking, site inspections, and brand-fit assessments.

  • Conduct brand-fit assessments for potential members, including reviewing hotel information, engaging with owners, pitching value propositions, and preparing tailored presentations.

  • Evaluate membership applications and collaborate with relevant teams for approvals.

  • Identify and address the needs and goals of prospective hotels, aligning them with our value proposition and services.

  • Adopt a solution-driven approach to the development process.

Partnerships & Engagement

  • Establish and nurture relationships with hotel owners, developers, architects, interior designers, and other industry stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted brand advisor and ambassador for the South Asia region.

Market Expansion & Insights

  • Identify high-potential growth markets in South Asia and monitor competitor and industry trends.

  • Travel frequently (40–60%) for site visits and engagement with existing and potential partners.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with the APAC and Global teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflows.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential hotel owners.

  • Ensure transparent pipeline tracking and reporting through CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development, brand partnerships, or owner relations within the travel, hospitality, or interior design sectors.

  • Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).

  • Strong knowledge of the South Asia boutique and independent hotel sectors.

  • Deep understanding of South Asia’s hospitality markets, including key players in boutique and independent hotel sectors.

  • Strong business acumen with expertise in hotel commercial and distribution knowledge.

  • Established network of architects, designers, and independent hotel developers and operators.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, developers, and designers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new members into the portfolio.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Regularly update and maintain pipeline tracking and reporting systems.
