Our client is a leading travel and hospitality technology company looking for a Senior Account Executive.
The Role
The Senior Account Executive role is a combination of account management, retention and acquisition, managing large and higher value accounts that require support across multiple integrated products. This role requires the ability to communicate at the VP level in an organization with confident and articulate presentation skills. The Senior Account Executive requires good technical knowledge and high-level understanding of system integration. They work closely with the Product and Go To Market (GTM) teams in Hospitality to track customer requirements and with other vendors to ensure the account is supported such as PMS, Payment Processing etc.

Main Responsibilities
·Acts as the primary point of contact and support for the assigned account, strategically and proactively across all product sets. Provide leadership with product capabilities and advocate for roadmap inclusions based on account requirements
·Demonstrate working knowledge of areas including Business Intelligence, Placement, Web booking Engine, PMS, Channel Management, Google & Web Analytics, GDS and Digital Media, Email Marketing, Website Effectiveness, Sales Event Management and Service Optimization
·Prepare quarterly 0strategic business reviews with the customer at property or corporate level to ensure that customer goals and expectations are being met and assist in applying the most beneficial Revenue Strategy
·Annual Innovation meeting with senior level account representatives and senior product team to review account strategy and requirements
·Monthly work in progress call to provide an update on open items related to development and enhancements
·Ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and all escalated matters are handled with a sense of urgency
·Fully responsible for the renewal of all non-bundle products including any standalone business intelligence, consortia, GDS, Digital Media
·Remaining up to date on Client/Competition/Agency/Industry business through trade publications, newspapers, and websites as well as assessing the potential impact of industry events/trends on the client’s business
·Responsible for supporting the successful on-boarding and on-going delivery of services to assigned existing customer base. Work closely with the project team and review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and expectations are met
The Person
·Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent industry experience
·Technical experience in distribution systems including CRS, PMS, CRM, Channel Management
·Experience in a sales, revenue management, reservations capacity within the hospitality or travel industry preferred
·Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate
·Experience in Sales & Event Management for MICE as well as an understanding of Hotel Housekeeping, Reservations and Engineering main functions
·Hospitality industry background or understands how a hotel operates, preferably in terms of Revenue Management
·Experience handling large accounts
