The Role
- Growing our social media followings on all channels with a focus on Instagram and TikTok
- Develop and launch engaging campaigns that drive business goals (audience growth, engagement, reach, acquisition)
- Implement and measure social media content daily across all relevant channels with a focus on data and trend analysis
- Implement a comprehensive competitor and KOL tracking system that allows us to push out news first and be ahead of the curve
- Lead all communication with local social and editorial leads sharing best practices
- Launch, grow and manage new (sub-)channels where relevant, ensuring milestones are set and met
- Identify emerging trends and communities that our brands can grow into to expand our reach and followership
- Work on strategic partnership opportunities with brands and platforms to create new business opportunities
- Work closely with the digital team and the local social media managers to ensure content and design are aligned throughout the group
- Assist in maximizing social sales opportunities, while developing strategies, goals, timelines, partnerships, and tools that help achieve business goals
- Maintain relationships with external and internal teams to brief and manage original content for distribution
The Person
- Proven track record managing and growing social platforms Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- In-depth understanding of social media tools, analytics tools, and social marketing technology
- Ability to spot trends and news proactively and ahead of our competitors across different fields, especially entertainment, food and lifestyle brands and news
- Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience, and social media content creation and distribution required (editorial or brand)
- Proficient with tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Later as well as Facebook Business Manager
- Strong data analyst: The ideal candidate can read, understand, and analyse insights for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and more
- You are passionate creator who wants to grow and develop new products with enthusiasm and a hands-on mentality
- You are knowledgeable in key lifestyle verticals like food, entertainment, and travel
- Excellent communication, collaboration, planning and project management skills
- Attention to detail and a high standard of content and image curation
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media growth strategies
- Expert in understanding of how brands should participate in social media in an authentic way
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
- A passion for working in a fast-paced environment with high level of teamwork
- Background with design and video creation tools like Adobe Photoshop and Creative suite are a plus
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on events and news happening given the geographies covered
