Instability across the Middle East is now feeding into hiring behaviour across Asia Pacific and you can see it in how decisions are being made.
Things are taking longer. Headcount is being watched more closely. And there’s definitely a lean toward safer hires. Most companies aren’t freezing hiring - they’re just hesitating a bit more than they were a few months ago. But the need for good people hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s more important to get the right hires in.
What I’m seeing is pretty simple: some businesses are slowing down; others are getting on with it. And right now, it’s a good market to hire in if you’re prepared to move.
